Album Update and Pictures
Hey Everybody!
It's been a long, fun, and exciting few months for the DY. In mid-May, we began the pre-production recording process for our new full-length album - Everything and Nothing - here in Nashua, NH. From there, we headed up to Pittsfield, NH - at
Rocking Horse Studio - and began the sometimes arduous, but always exciting and fulfilling process of tracking and mixing the album. Between tracking, mixing, buying and drinking
Grapette , brainstorming sessions, tweaking, and eating
celebratory cake , we've spent the better part of 2 months up at Rocking Horse.
Finally, however, our time is complete, and the final mixes are ready to move on to mastering and replication!
The time a band spends in-studio is some of the most intense, secluded time you can ever have - so I wanted to memorialize the occasion with some pictures - enjoy!
I will try to keep updating on a more regular basis.

Check Out The Pictures on Photobucket Here Lyrics Section Online!
We're super proud to announce that our new lyrics section is now online. The lyrics section is our first step in creating an innovative and complete fan experience. As we ourselves are fans of music, we know it can be frustrating and sometimes erroneous when you find information on a band on the internet. We want to be able to provide you, our fans with content so that you do not have to look anywhere else on the web.
This is particularly important, because, as musicians will tell you, if you look up chords, lyrics, and notation on search engines, you often find yourself jumping around the internet, with no real direction. More importantly the information is broken up, and inconsistent.
We pledge to you to provide you with first hand information about our music, so that you can take part, lean, and share. Our Lyrics section is the beginning of all of this. We'll also be providing things like chord charts, transcribed solos, and behind the scenes looks into The Double Yellow.
Why make this pledge? Why go through the effort? We do this for our fans, you all have been gracious enough to garner us with support and enthusiasm, and we could not continue without you.
You can sign up now for a free account, and gain access to our new lyrics section immediately.
This is our gift to you, thank you sincerely and we hope to see you soon!

WHO: The Double Yellow
AKA: Ryan Quintal, vocals; Evan Hedrich, lead guitar; Andrew Cote, drums; Jeff Moore, keyboards; Kevin Thibault, guitar; and Will Hedrich, bass.
VISIT: www.thedoubleyellow.com
HISTORY: Like most high school kids, Andrew Cote, Jeff Moore, and Evan Hedrich found refuge in music. Soon, an under-the-radar Southern New Hampshire band was born, and the boys were on their way to musical success. The trio grew when Andrew met Kevin Thibault in college, and from there, Evan's brother Will Hedrich was asked to join. Ryan Quintal, also mutual friends through school soon joined, thus completing the force that became The Double Yellow. We caught up with the band on their second day of recording their upcoming album, Everything and Nothing, to talk about the exciting road they are on.
